The Story of Bruk & Wongel

The story of Bruk and Wongel is a beautiful testament to the power of time, faith, and a bond that began before they even knew what “forever” meant. It all started within the humble walls of the IEC Church Sunday School, where a 6-year-old Wongel and a 9-year-old Bruk first crossed paths.

What began as innocent childhood play and shared Bible lessons blossomed into a foundational friendship that would span sixteen years. Through every stage of growing up—from the playful days of childhood to the transformative years of adolescence—they remained each other’s constant.
